Beautiful Family

Well we scheduled to take pictures at a local historic park, as it rained and rained and rained for almost 4 days straight, that was really not an option.  So, we had to move indoors.  Little Princess as not in the mood to take any family photos, so I am so sorry, Mom and Dad, that we were not able to reach our goal.  BUT, I hope that we were able to capture at least one or two moments that will have made the drive worth it.
I so enjoyed our time together.  This family is such a beautiful and loving family, just being in their presence is a beautiful and peaceful place to be!

Fun Friday-to-Friday Freebie

The one above, with the "M" on it is the one she chose;
I didn't put the "M" on until after she chose it.
First bag, outside above and inside below

Second bag, outside above and inside below

Well, here we go again. . . . take my trials and errors as a way to get "something-for-nothing"!  YEAH!  Anyway, our Little Rae, Ray of Sunshine needed a little bag in which to carry her tap and ballet shoes.  Soooooo, I thought that I'd give it a go.  Let me start off by saying, that it was MUCH more difficult than I thought it would be.   Thankfully, I had purchased a lot of fabric.  I made several bags and let her choose one.  BUT, now I have a few left over!  Soooo, if you want to leave a comment and post a link on your own blog about this freebie, it will enter you in a drawing to get one of these bags.  Entries will be accepted until Friday, May 8th at 11:59 pm and I'll announce the winners on Monday (not a bad way to start out a Monday, if you win ;) ).  Regardless, thanks for looking and have a blessed weekend.

Shot of the week

I converted it to b/w after I stretched it, so don't have a b/w size for comparison,
 just the color.

Thanks to Jodi at MCP Actions, I learned how to stretch my picture to fit it into the frame I wanted with out chopping off my little Sweet Pickle's legs/head.  We took this shot on Sunday and I just love it.  I just ordered the picture and hope that it won't look too much like I stretched when I see it in REAL life as opposed to digital life.
